ABOUT US

The Herne Bay Masonic Centre is the hub of masonic movement in and around the Herne Bay area.

It is home to five masonic lodges, these being:

The Ethelbert Lodge 2099
The Ardea Lodge 6717
The Nicholas Ridley Lodge 8094
The Spinnaker Lodge 8395
The Sharpers Hall Lodge 9196

The Centre is also home to St Georges Chapter No.2099, Spinnaker Chapter No.8395 and Herne Bay Lodge No 771 of Mark Master Masons. Members of these side orders and the lodges make up a healthy movement of freemasons, who contribute enormously to charities, not only in the Herne Bay area, but also county and nationwide.

The Centre has recently undertaken substantial internal renovation and sits proudly within the local community.

Members that require a clean and modern venue for birthday celebrations, retirement parties, meetings and general events should consider the Herne Bay Masonic Centre. It has full bar facilities, with a full licensing to sell alcohol to those that hire the Centre. Music can also be played at the Centre. Additionally, full catering facilities are offered and our catering staff hold level 2 awards in Food Safety and Catering from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health. The Centre itself have a CCC 3 star rating for food hygiene.
